Tommaso Shellfish

Our farm is nestled in the cold waters of Sea Otter Sound, located near Prince of Wales Island, Alaska.
 

Tommaso Shellfish started over 10 years ago and is a small family owned and operated oyster farm (James Greeley), that harvests and handles each oyster by hand.

We started the farm from scratch by navigating through the permitting process, building a float house with locally milled lumber, and purchasing spat from local FLUPSYS in Sea Otter Sound. 
 

We specialize in growing Pacific Oysters that reflect the pure flavors of Southeast Alaska's beautiful coastal landscape.

Our Oysters

Mmmm... these plump,  buttery bivalves are mild with a hint of salt.

 

They are perfect for any raw, deep fried, smoked or grilled half shell delicacy of your choosing.

So, whether you are hosting an event, own a restaurant, or just want to sit back and relax with family and friends. Anyway you shuck 'em, these oysters can be prepared for anything.

Our oysters are harvested from certified waters and lab tested  (Alaska DEC) (AK#7844-SS).

Tommaso Shellfish oysters are shipped alive and fresh and grow to a variety of sizes.


Though our farm location is remote, with today's shipping standards we can ensure you will receive your order in a timely manner.
